I had a building report done this year. The house has severe structural damage that I cannot afford to fix and insurance won't cover this. I am forced to sell as I cannot return to Australia due to my husband needing a visa (it will cost $8000.00 to apply). The house was built in the 1890s, it has three bedrooms, bathroom with toilet, huge front yard, huge shed. When I bought the house 7 years ago, the Gawler council stated that it was in very good condition, now it is structurally unsafe. So the buyer should be someone who is looking for a property to fix.
I have contacted Kies Real estate who have not gotten back to me. Yesterday I contacted Elders real estate who will go and inspect the property, and Harcourts who have asked me some questions. I won't deal with LJ Hooker as they sold me the property 7 years ago and I am very unhappy with them for not disclosing to me that the house is structurally damaged. Other than this, I am hoping to find a buyer who is wanting to fix the problems as the house is part of the Gawler Heritage Plan. 5) Looking to speak and sell as soon as possible.

5) Looking to speak and sell as soon as possible. I have spent most of this year trying to get insurance to cover the problems and get financial hardship. I am currently waiting for AFCA to help me, but the waiting list is long. I am running out of savings to fund this. I had a baby 10 weeks ago, and am going to have to pick up some work a couple of days a week. I need to sell asap and get my life back on track. I am selling it reluctantly as it was my dream home, but the structural condition of the house was not disclosed to me. I am quite devastated about it and would truly love to find someone who wants to fix it up to its potential.
