Her highly impressive track record is a tribute to her background in executive marketing directorships at a global level – in England, Europe, the USA and the Far East. As senior vice-president of marketing at an internationally renowned global retailer in the UK, Karen’s responsibilities also encompassed branding, sales, promotions, public relations and business development. In the UK, her sporting prowess during her teen years also helped position her for future business success, as the commitment to training and discipline was a staple of daily life when she swam for England and played hockey and squash at county level. After moving to Australia 22 years ago, Karen took a short career break to be a full-time mum to Daniel and Katie before returning to the business world in real estate.
