We would normally be very happy to pay a 20% commission for referrals but in this circumstance we were offering 12.5%.


At Sothebys, we have director fees that we have to pay to New York and our QLD CEO on each commission. Can you please confirm you are happy with this, as the email that came through stated 20%.

06/01/25 Geez this is going to get very messy, it turns out that the vendor had already had Paul and Carol the CEO of Sotheby's out before they went with Ray White. Melissa has said that she did not know this until the Vendor told her and it was before Ray White, Melissa has said that as a pre existing she would still like to give us something as we made the extra introduction and re enforced that Sotheby's is who she should go with. Melissa will have to pay Paul and Carol commission also as they made the initial appraisal with the vendor. What do you think? vw
