29/08/2025 - Grace: Called her back from missed calls - still wants us to waive the fee. I confirmed validity of fee and that agent had confirmed as well. Said she will contact agent to let him know outcome of her call and that she is OK with referral fee being paid. Had to stand firm as this really is a valid referral. Indicated she will call him - he is obviously getting the business any way. - Mark

11/7 CLIENT: LVM to Grace to let her know that after speaking to the agent we have determined the referral fee is valid as he is happy to pay as he was introduced to new business. vf
11/07/2025 - Joseph: Discussed client request to waive referral fee. He did confirm he felt referral is valid as she is the owner, had met the partner (not owner) once or twice over the years, but had never appraised the property nor been in contact with Grace (owner) previously. Grace was trying to negotiate a cheaper fee and he gave them his standard rate - explained there are other costs and did mention the referral fee - so she is wanting to try and put herself in a better negotiating position. THIS IS A VALID REFEERRAL, and Joseph (agent) agrees.
11/7 CLIENT: She is concerned we are charging her friend Joseph a referral fee they know each other were going to engage him anyway and she said Nat did not tell her who she was going to refer over she did not know Joseph was in the mix. Asking if we can wave or reduce the fee. vf

9/07/2025 - Vendor called in, says she already knew him. Admits did not contact him to sell the property- " he is my friend". Agent asked her to call us and get rid of referral fee before he signs the Form 6. When I asked her why he did not say anything as it was 2 months ago - she admitted had not contacted him prior to our referral for this sale. Just "knows him and unfair to charge him a referral fee" MF
Joseph - Hi Natalie, yes I spoke with them yesterday. They're going to call me at the end of May to arrange a time to inspect the property together and to discuss the sales process
Johnny - Spoke to Xiaoyan this morning. She wants to sell while tenanted but didn’t want me to have a look inside of the property. I explained her that it is essential for me to go and have a look so I can give her an advice. She will discuss with her husband and let me know whether they want me to go and have a look at the property or not.
