Overlooking the Barron River, Grand Barron Lodge is situated 10 km from Kuranda and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.
The property features a large communal living and dining area and a shared fully-equipped kitchen for guests to enjoy. In the winter guests can keep warm in front of the log fire. The beautiful views of the Barron River can be enjoyed from the terrace as you relax and there are various outdoor seating/dining areas surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Other facilities at Grand Barron Lodge include a BBQ, piano and kayak, which can be used in the river.
Guests can access the river via a path from the house to take a refreshing swim (no crocodiles) or have fun in the Kayak! Cairns Airport is 19 km away.
