Geoff: sorry for the delayed response, I left it with Lesley and Mike that they were going to attend to some jobs on the property to have a "clean up" in order to present the property better. My meeting with them was on March 24th. I have spoken with Lesley again today and they have acheived a great deal and have a few other projects on the drawing board. I plan to make contact again in 4 weeks to see how they are getting along and perhaps visit again at that time too.
they are keen to sell and move o/seas but with the Covid situation they have "cooled their heels a bit" fair enough too! as they are unable to "go anywhare" if they did sell so we tink it is best to get it all ready to enter the market and when the coast is clear and restrictions are lifted then hit the market then. I will keep you posted

"Just a wee debrief from meeting yesterday.
Firstly thank you for the opportunity to visit and discuss with you the future sale of your property. You have a very nice home there on acres with a very pleasant outlook, located very close to town. As discussed yesterday, tasks for you to tackle in the immediate future are the reduction of “stuff”, removal of bits and pieces rubbish etc, have those few electrical jobs fixed, garage sale, then work to present the property with those few cosmetic jobs we spoke of just a good spring clean ( in autumn) if you like. You appear to be well on the right track already with this plan.
Then once you have those things done we can bring in the photographer set the marketing process into gear and put it out there to the world. Like we discussed yesterday, the world we now know is full of questions and not so many answers but property will still change hands. I look forward to working with you both. I will call you in 4 weeks to see how you are going with it all.
