26/10/2021 - Scott: HI Mark, as previously advised, I did an appraisal on this property in July but did it for Caroles son. Carole was aware of this but wasn't aware when she spoke to you of any possible referral fees & felt "stupid" even though any fees weren't payable by her. She expressed her disappointment at not being aware although admitted there was probably something in the fine print. At this stage I'm not sure if I will get the listing but she was steadfast in that she didn't want Ray White or any agent you have contacted on her behalf to pay any referral fee & was more than happy for you to contact her to confirm. If I didn't have a previous relationship with this vendor I would accept the terms of your referral but in this instance, I don't believe that to be correct
